Details: RCC Silos – 16.5m Diameter × 42m Height – 2 Nos
We successfully executed the design and construction of two RCC silos, each measuring 16.5 meters in diameter and 42 meters in height, at Calcom Cement’s Nagaon Plant in Assam in collaboration with East West Projects.
Scope of Work:

Design & Engineering: The silos were structurally designed to handle heavy material loads, seismic conditions, and wind pressures as per IS standards.

Construction: Utilized slipform shuttering systems to achieve accurate circular geometry, vertical alignment, and smooth concrete finish.

Material & Quality: Used high-grade RCC mix and reinforcement steel ensuring long-term strength and resistance to environmental factors.

Execution: Both silos were constructed under stringent supervision, adhering to strict safety protocols and project timelines.

Testing & Quality Assurance: All stages underwent rigorous quality checks, including NDT, load tests, and dimensional verifications before commissioning.
